Challenge me Happy #46 - Water

  Hello everybody! This is my entry for the Challenge #46  at Challenge me Happy, where the theme is WATER! Since the summer is almost here and the weather is getting warmer, I chose my layout to be ispired by the sea and the joy of playing with the waves! The girl in the photo is my favorite young cousin Marina, ( ..my personal scrapbooking model : p) whose name means "  from the sea", and I think that the camera really caught her at the right moment!!

Lace , decorative branches, gears and pearls with looooots of gel medium an gesso

I painted the composition with my tattered angel mists using a brush and added some sand here end there. The sand was gathered from a nearby beach and painted blue with my acrylics.

I used aquarelle paper and water colours for the background and gave a try on the "salt technique" which I found HERE.

 I tried some mixed media techniques for the first time on this one ... I 'll try to improve myself though, I promise!

Challenge Me Happy #45

   Καλησπέρα και πάλι!

Ενώ όλο λέω να ξεκουραστώ και να χαλαρώσω, το χειροτεχνικό μικρόβιο δεν με αφήνει σε ησυχία...οπότε έφτιαξα ακόμη ένα LO το οποίο πιστεύω να είναι και το τελευταίο για αυτό το μήνα. Την ιδέα μου την έδωσε η πρόκληση #45 του Challenge Me Happy με το LO της Marie Johansson και αυτή είναι η συμμετοχή μου.

  Hello my scrapfriends!

This is my entry for the challenge #45 on Challenge Me Happy, where we must scraplift  a LO made by Marie Johansson. I do not have a machine to make any stitches, although I really love them on scrapbooking projects. Instead, I cut with my punch some aluminium flowers and I carved them, scratched them and inked them. Now you just have to use your imagination and make yourself believe that they are stitched !!!

May 1st layout challenge..... on Get Creative

   Παρασκευή σήμερα και απο το πρωί προσπαθώ να φτιάξω μια λουλουδάτη σύνθεση για την πρόκληση του Get Creative την οποία κατάφερα να ολοκληρώσω κάπου ανάμεσα στην επίσκεψη στον παιδίατρο, στο σκούπισμα της αυλής ( ...ο πατέρας μου ήθελε να με φωτογραφήσει για να μην χαθέι το σπάνιο ντοκουμέντο ), στο μαγείρεμα και στην ΑΤΕΛΕΙΩΤΗ γκρίνια του μικρού που μου έκανε τον εγκέφαλο σουρωτήρι. Τα λουλούδια γενικά μου αρέσουν στα LO, πάντα βάζω μερικά. Αυτή τη φορά όμως είπα να βάλω μερικά παραπάνω ακολουθώντας τους κανόνες που έθεσε η Ειρήνη για την πρόκληση. Δεν ήμουν σίγουρη οτι ήταν αρκετά, μέχρι που ρώτησα το Λουκά πως του φαίνεται το δημιούργημά μου και μου είπε "...ωραίο είναι, αλλά μήπως να έβγαζες κανένα λουλούδι? " !!

Ηello everyone!!

This is my entry for the May 1st layout challenge on Get Creative . All you have to do is make a layout with lots and lots of flowers!! I usually put about a couple of  flowers on my compositions, so for my standards this one just has too many!!

Λουλούδια και φύλλα χάρτινα, απο καμβά, αυτοκόλλητα, απο χαρτοπολτό, απο ριζόχαρτο και απο ύφασμα.

Για φόντο έκανα ένα κολλάζ απο διάφορα αποκόμματα, το έβαψα με ακρυλικά χρώματα και πρόσθεσα λίγες στάμπες εδώ και εκεί και λίγη σκιά με distress ink.

Mια μικρή λεπτομέρεια απο τα χαρτιά της Graphic 45 -Place in time
