This is a mixed media canvas I created for a dear friend of mine who is having her 35th birthday next week! Since she left with her family for Cyprus I have the chance to see her only 2-3 times a year. Hopefully we will meet some time in October and I'll give her my present!!
The pink and blue flowers are made from recycled old letters I was keeping in a box since I was a student. I kept them all those years from a time when communication through mail was something that could take days or weeks. Eventhough I was not going to read them again and they realy belonged to the past, I couldn't throw them away either. So I recycled them to pieces of paper and gave them a new "life"!
