Mini Album Swap at Scrapbookers in Greece !

  Τα mini album τα λατρεύω! Εδώ και καιρό παρακολουθώ στο διαδύκτιο χίλιες δυό ιδέες, τεχνικές, διακοσμήσεις και δεσίματα, αλλά δικά μου mini έχω φτιάξει μόνο πέντε ....συμπεριλαμβανομένου και του συγκεκριμένου δηλαδή! Αφορμή ήταν το Mini Album Swap Ioυνίου που ανακάλυψα στο blog των Scrapbookers in Greece. Θέμα μας το καλοκαίρι φυσικά, γι' αυτό και χρησιμοποίησα τα πιο γιορτινά και πολύχρωμα χαρτιά που διέθετα. Προσπάθησα όσο γινόταν να είμαι επιμελής και προσεκτική με τα κοπιδάκια και τα ψαλίδια για να μπορέσω να στείλω στο ταίρι μου κάτι που να είναι αξιόλογο και προσεγμένο.(...βέβαια της είπα να κάνει τα στραβά μάτια αν δει και καμιά στραβοψαλιδιά...!!).
    To πιο ωραίο απο όλα σε αυτή τη διαδικασία είναι οτι γνώρισα ένα πολύ γλυκό κορίτσι την Χριστίνα , η οποία μου έστειλε ένα καταπληκτικό - καλοκαιρινό - μαγικό - πανέμορφο mini και με συγκίνησε πάρα πολύ!! Ρίξτε μια ματιά εδώ για να δείτε πόσο τυχερή ήμουν που ήταν το ταίρι μου!!


Τhis is a mini album I made for the June Mini Album Swap over at Scrapbookers in Greece. After a random selection I was lucky to have as a mate for the swap a very sweet and very talented girl named Christina!
Christina send me the most beautiful - amazing - magic  - summer mini album! You can see her brilliant work here! Thank you so much !

Courage...

   Those who met him say that he was a gentle soul,a couragious character, a calligrapher,a good dancer, a person who knew how to enjoy the simple things in life,a perfumer, a traveled man and a good father. Maybe they are right...maybe not. Sometimes when a man we love dies we only remember the best of him...
  I like to think of him this way...a noble man! My grandfather who I never met.

A picture of him at 1927 when he was a soldier at Larisa. The suit he is wearing was given to him by the photographer  and it's the only photo of the years at the army that he is not in his military uniform.

His was well known for his courage between the family members.

At this picture he is only 21 years old, he passed away at 1976 a few months before I was born. Wish we had met grandfather...

  This whole project was inspired by the challenge at Bird is the word with the word "courage". There is a sketch which gave me inspiration for the composition.

 It will also be my entry for another challenge at Berry 71 bleu where "anything goes" for the month of July.

Lift Summer Crafts challenge #3

  Hello my friends! Hope you are all very well , very creative and having a nice summer so far! I decided to create an ATC for the first time, trying to follow the sketch I found at Lift Summer Crafts. I had sooo much fun getting my fingers dirty with my acrylics, mediums and modeling paste that I'm already thinking my next ATC project! Well....the girls warned us that it's an addiction...and it's so true! Hope over at Lift Summer Crafts for the details of the challenge and take a look at the amazing gift for the lucky winner!

Chipboard wings, authentic metal clock gears, lots and lots of gesso and acrylics.

  So this is my card, embelished with some old clock gears that I collected by visiting ( ...along with my dear friend Athanasia ) almost every single shop that repairs clocks in Halkis . It was amazing how many gears we found, since they are useless for the new clocks but SO USEFULL for two scrapbook-addict girls!!
